The best Red Eagles in the individual event, that was decided after three competition rounds as the fourth round was canceled due to the difficult wind conditions, were Stefan Hula, Anze Semenic and Jernej Damjan in 13th, 14th and 15th. Clemens Aigner came in 18th, Stephan Leyhe 20th Alex Insam 27th and Sebastian Colloredo 28th.

in the team event a few of our Red Eagles had lots of reasons to celebrate. Anze Semenic and Jernej Damjan won the Silver medal with the team of Slovenia and Stefan Hula took bronze with Poland. Unfortunately Stephan Leyhe closely missed the podium in fourth with Germany and Clemens Aigner was fifth with Austria.

Marius Lindvik continues to be in a great shape this winter and proved it with a third place on Saturday morning, Przemyslaw Kantya finished eleventh, Andreas Granerud Buskum was 15th, local hero Fatih Arda Ipcioglu came in 22nd, Paul Brasme 23rd and Tom Hilde 25th.

Only a few hours later Marius Lindvik did even better and came in second. Tom Hilde finished on a very good fourth place, Paul Brasme was 11th, followed by Andreas Granerud Buskum and Przemyslaw Kantyka in 12th and 13th. Fatih Arda Ipcioglu scored a few points again in 24th.

In the first competition in Zao on Friday, Ursa Bogataj was the only one of our athletes to qualify for the final round of the Top 30. She came in on a good tenth place.

Results

In Saturday's team event, Ursa Bogataj came in on the great second place with Slovenia, Anniken Mork was fifth with Norway and Taylor Henrich eighth with Canada.

Results

Ursa Bogataj was again our only jumper who finished in the Top 30 on Sunday. The Slovene came in 15th in the final competition of the World Cups in Japan.

On Saturday, local hero Jerneja Brecl achieved her first ever podium finish in third. Barbora Blazkova came in eleventh, Kamila Karpiel and Oceane Avocat Gros finished on the places 19 and 20.

In Sunday's competition Jerneja Brecl could repreat her great third place, Kamila Karpiel finished ninth, Kinga Rajda was 17th and Barbora Blazkova 20th.

Nordic Combined - World Cup Chaux-Neuve (FRA)

Starting from a fourth place after the jumping, Jan Schmid took his second with of the season Saturday afternoon in Chaux-Neuve. Antoine Gerard came in 22nd.

In the team event on Sunday, Jan Schmid stood on top of the podium again with Norway. Antoine Gerard came in fourth with team of France and Ben Berend finished 11th with the USA.

Harald Riiber was the best in the jumping part on Saturday and came in 15th in the race, Paul Gerstgraser finished 19th.

Results

On Sunday, Paul Gerstgraser moved up from 30th after the jumping to fourth overall, Harald Riiber came in eighth and Adam Loomis was 29th.
